Responsibilities: • Take a professional approach to your role as a sales associate, whether working with customers in the showroom or collaborating with team members at sales meetings • Present potential customers with used car options while specifying their characteristics, details, features, and competitive differentiators to deliver a positive sales experience • Arrange and accompany auto sales customers on test drives • Leverage excellent customer service skills and negotiation skills to effectively close sales • Confidently navigate used car sales contracts and work with sales management, finance, and service department team members to answer customer questions • Close sales using exceptional customer service to ensure a positive sales experience • Uphold the dealership’s reputation and core values for excellence by maintaining a professional appearance • Arrange and accompany the demonstration of inventory to interested customers • Prospect and steward well the large amount of leads that are provided Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory • Knowledge and interest in used car features, the auto sales industry, car dealerships’ financing options, and sales management necessary • A minimum of one year of experience working as a car sales representative or in related sales jobs is needed • Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction are vital • Must hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record • High school diploma mandatory; bachelor’s degree preferred • General knowledge of car features, the auto sales industry, financing, and customer relation management necessary • Must hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Stellar customer service skills, communication skills, and a high commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount • One year minimum of auto sales experience, working as a sales representative, or higher Compensation: $60,000 - $156,000
