GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and supporting the marketing team in achieving revenue goals. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their sales skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Primarily responsible for nurturing prospective clients through the sales funnel leveraging B2B sales & marketing best practices, including via phone, email, and in person.
- Engages with qualified prospective healthcare companies via industry organization events or online forums, and databases including Trella Health.
- Schedules and facilitates meetings with prospective clients and Empower leadership.
- Travel within an assigned region to meet with owners, administrators, and decision-makers at prospective client agencies, primarily but not limited to aging care
- Conduct on-site discovery meetings to understand agency operations, challenges, and goals
- Prepares proposals and sales presentations in both digital and hard copy formats.
- Present and demonstrate our software solutions to prospective clients in person
- Assists with managing incoming messages/inquiries through various online sources such as website, chat, email, social media, etc. by monitoring and following up with approved responses.
- Maintains accurate records of outreach and sales activities and ensures data in the CRM is up to date. Adds new qualified contacts to the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal marketing teams to follow up on leads and customize presentations
- Gathers and shares industry news, talking points, or other relevant information from outreach activities with the marketing team.
- Assists with the development and design of marketing collateral.
- Assists with preparing marketing KPI reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic proficiency in business technology, including Microsoft Suite and CRM software required.
- Basic experience with graphic design preferred.
- One year of sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a sales environment.
- Ability to build relationships and connect with customers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a business development environment.
