Sales Representative Job Posting
In-Home Sales Representative - Residential Exteriors
Service Area: Nassau County • Suffolk County • Brooklyn
We’re a high-end residential exterior contractor specializing in roofing, siding, windows, and doors throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Brooklyn. Our reputation is built on clean jobsites, tight scheduling, premium installation standards, and a client experience that matches the quality of our work.
We are not a chuck-in-a-truck company—we operate at a high level, and we’re looking for sales professionals who do the same.
We’re hiring a field-driven, in-home Sales Representative who can run appointments, build trust with homeowners, and consistently close high-quality projects.
This is not an order-taker role—you will be expected to control the appointment, educate the homeowner, and confidently guide them to a decision.
Role Focus (Exterior Sales Specialization Preferred) This role requires strong, relevant experience in residential home improvement sales, including:
Roofing systems (full replacements, leak issues, ventilation upgrades)
Siding systems (James Hardie, vinyl, trim packages, design upgrades)
Windows & doors (full-home replacements, energy efficiency, aesthetics)
You don’t need to be a contractor—but you must be able to communicate value, not just price.
Field Expectations
Run company-provided appointments and self-generated opportunities
Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners
Build rapport quickly and establish trust
Measure, scope, and present solutions confidently
Deliver clear, professional proposals on the spot when appropriate
Follow up and close deals in a timely manner
Maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities
Sales Standard (Non-Negotiable)
You control the appointment—not the homeowner
You ask the right questions and uncover real problems
You sell value, not discounts
You follow a structured sales process
You maintain professionalism at all times
You represent the company at a high level in every home
Key Responsibilities

Success in This Role Is Measured By:
Closing ratio (conversion rate)

Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
Exterior construction knowledge (roofing, siding, windows).
