    Northland Companies supplies landscape and masonry materials to contractors and homeowners. We are growing and looking for someone who wants to help grow with us. Position Overview We are looking for a driven, proactive Sales Representative to help grow our landscape and masonry supply division. This role starts with a strong inside sales focus and includes customer interaction, quote follow-up, relationship-building, and day-to-day support of the sales process. For the right person, this role has the opportunity to grow beyond inside sales into outside sales and business development. We are NOT looking for someone who just waits on customers. We want someone who enjoys building relationships, following up, spotting opportunities, and helping grow the business. The right person is confident, dependable, motivated, and hungry to win. Experience in landscape, masonry, construction, or building materials is a plus, but attitude, drive, and people skills matter most. Compensation- $50,000 - $70,000 Base pay + commission; with strong earning potential based on sales growth Responsibilities: • Build relationships with contractors, homeowners, and repeat customers • Follow up on quotes, leads, and open opportunities to help win business • Identify sales opportunities instead of simply reacting to walk-in traffic • Help customers choose the right landscape, masonry, and veneer stone products • Provide pricing, product information, and sales support by phone, email, and in person • Work with the team to keep orders moving and deliver a great customer experience • Support day-to-day sales and yard operations as needed We want someone who enjoys building relationships, following up, spotting opportunities, and helping customers solve problems—not just selling product. Qualifications: • Sales, customer service, or relationship-building experience preferred • Strong communication skills and confidence working with contractors, homeowners, and repeat customers • Self-starter who takes initiative, follows through, and looks for opportunities • Comfortable helping customers solve problems and recommending the right products for their projects • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Basic knowledge of landscape, masonry, construction, or building materials is a plus • Forklift experience is a plus, or willingness to learn Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 Base pay + commission
