    Position Overview:
    The Sales Representative is responsible for generating, qualifying, and managing sales leads for live events and entertainment services, primarily focused on DJ bookings. This role involves handling initial client inquiries, preparing quotes, coordinating lead hand-off to DJs, and occasionally closing sales directly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

      • Identify and reach out to potential clients via phone, email, networking events, and referrals.

      • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and engage potential clients effectively.

    • Client Communication & Quoting:

    * Clearly communicate service offerings, pricing, and options to potential clients.  
    
    * Prepare detailed and customized proposals and quotes tailored to client requirements.  
    
    • Lead Qualification & Handoff:
    * Qualify leads thoroughly and efficiently, determining client needs and appropriate DJ matches.  
    
    * Coordinate hand-off of qualified leads to DJs, ensuring smooth transition and providing relevant client information.  
    
    • Direct Sales:
    * Independently manage and close sales directly in situations where no DJ meeting is required.  
    
    • CRM & Documentation:
    * Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, quotes, and bookings in CRM software.  
    
    * Regularly update sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.  
    
    • Collaboration & Coordination:
    * Work closely with DJs and operational staff to ensure event details, availability, and client expectations are accurately communicated.  
    
    • Client Follow-up & Relationship Building:
    * Conduct post-event follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote repeat business opportunities.  
    
    • Networking & Event Participation
    * Actively represent the company at industry networking events, mixers, trade shows, and conferences throughout the year.  
    
    * Attend several company-sponsored and industry-related events annually to generate new leads, strengthen relationships, and build brand visibility.  
    
    * Engage proactively with potential clients, event professionals, and industry partners to foster business opportunities and strategic alliances.  
    

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably within events, hospitality, or entertainment industries.

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to handle multiple leads simultaneously and manage tasks efficiently.

    • Proficiency in CRM systems and general sales software tools.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach.

    Compensation:

    • This position will pay $1,250 per week through December 31, 2025. Beginning January 1, 2026, compensation will transition to a commission-based structure with an adjusted base salary, designed to reward high performance and sales success.
