    Position Overview

    The Sales Representative is responsible for managing and executing a $1.5M+ annual sales plan focused on residential painting services and related offerings. Second year reps will be $2M+.

    This is a consultative, in-home sales role that blends:

    • Relationship building
    • Estimating and proposal preparation
    • CRM pipeline management
    • Performance tracking against revenue and margin goals

    Most leads are generated through company marketing efforts, but high performers will also self-generate additional opportunities.

    Compensation & Earnings

    This is a performance-based role with strong earning potential:

    • Base Salary: Approximately $40,000 annually
    • Commission:
    • 3% on margin (standard structure)
    • Up to 6% commission with strong closing rate and self-generated business
    • Expected Earnings: $90,000 – $160,000+ depending on performance and experience
    • Commission is uncapped

    High performers who consistently self-generate and close at strong margins will earn at the top end of the range.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and execute against a $1,500,000+ annual sales plan
    • Conduct in-home consultations and prepare detailed estimates
    • Present and close painting service proposals
    • Track personal revenue, margin, and cost-per-margin targets
    • Enter estimates and customer data into CRM accurately
    • Respond promptly to client and office inquiries
    • Generate additional leads through networking and community engagement
    • Attend weekly leadership and goal alignment meetings
    • Submit weekly reporting on pipeline, drivers, and priorities
    • Continuously study and improve product and service knowledge

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of sales experience (home services or construction preferred)
    • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
    • Highly organized with CRM experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Self-directed with strong accountability
    • Comfortable working in a field-based environment
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Preferred :

    • Experience in residential painting or home improvement sales
    • Strong margin management and pricing discipline
