    Sales Representative Midwest Region

    Amstat Industries is a leader in static controls and has an immediate opening for an experienced sales representative. Responsibilities include establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up with potential leads. Candidate must be willing to travel the Chicago land and surrounding areas and be self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Position offers flexible work hours. This is a base pay plus commission position.

    We are looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

    This job is in office 3-4 days per week and visiting customers 1-2 days per week. 30 hour per week average. Position is salary plus commission.

    Responsibilities

    Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers

    Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships

    Responsible for approximately $300,000 annual sales

    Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

    Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

    Coordinate sales effort with team members

    Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

    Continuously improve through feedback

    Travel to customers and prospects in the IL, WI, IN and MI area

    Support Amstat team with daily needs including answering phones, helping customers outside of territory, coverage for office, packing and shipping and any other general office/coverage and customer service needs

    Skills

    Proven work experience in sales

    Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and CRM’s helpful

    Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

    Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills

    Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

    Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

    Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

    BS/BA degree or equivalent
