We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert who can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Responsibilities: • Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position our brand as the clear and obvious choice • Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages • Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information • Research and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client's risk tolerance and financial objectives • Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products • Compile each client’s financial information to determine financial goals, financial status, cash flow, and financial expectations • Customize financial plans for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given Qualifications: • Some industry or product knowledge preferred and a High school diploma is required • Proven track record in sales • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills • At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred • Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines • Superior relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are necessary • Business mindset • Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, and best practices is preferred • Experience in sales & finance is helpful but not required Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 yearly
