    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and customer‑focused Sales Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales calls and walk‑in customers. In this role, you will answer customer inquiries, manage a high volume of phone and email communication, process orders, and maintain ongoing customer relationships. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working directly with customers in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of hydraulic or power tools is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    Serve as the primary sales contact for incoming phone calls and walk‑in customers.

    Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails and inquiries, while preparing, processing, and following up on customer orders, quotes, and shipping details.

    Ensure accuracy when entering customer orders and preparing sales documentation.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

    Provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.

    Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and interactions in company systems.

    Assist the Sales Manager with reporting, tracking, and project-based tasks.

    Support overall sales operations through timely follow-up and an organized workflow.

    Minimum Requirements

    High school diploma/GED required

    2+ years of relevant experience preferred (sales support, customer service, office administration, or related roles).

    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

    General office equipment knowledge (copiers, printers, scanners, computers).

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong customer service, organization, and prioritization abilities.

    Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    A positive attitude and ability to be persistent

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in the railroad, industrial, mechanical, or tool-related industries.

    Knowledge of hydraulic or power tools.

    Experience entering data or tracking interactions in a CRM system.
