Sales Representative – Criminal Defense Law Firm
Full-Time | In-Person | Salary Position
We are seeking a professional, disciplined Sales Representative to join our growing criminal defense firm. This is not traditional sales — and it is not a role for improvisers or lone wolves.
Our sales representatives work with individuals and families facing serious legal issues, often during one of the most stressful moments of their lives. This role requires confidence, empathy, discipline, and the ability to follow a proven system exactly.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
No cold calling. No lead generation required.
You will meet with individuals who have already contacted our firm.
You will follow a structured, proven script during consultations and in our closing room.
You will conduct follow-up outreach (primarily phone calls, with some text and email) to individuals who have met with us but have not yet hired the firm.
This position is salaried, not commission-only, and is designed for someone who values consistency, professionalism, and long-term growth.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
Confident, persuasive, and comfortable discussing financial decisions
Highly coachable and receptive to feedback
Competitive, but team-oriented
Comfortable following a script word-for-word during training and applying it consistently thereafter
Calm under pressure and able to communicate with people facing serious legal consequences
Previous sales experience is not required, but experience working from a script is a strong plus.
Non-Negotiables
This role is not a fit if you:
Resist structured systems or prefer to “do things your own way”
Deviate from scripts or processes
Fail to follow up consistently
Make promises to clients or offer legal advice (sales representatives do not give legal advice)
Responsibilities
Conduct in-person sales consultations using a firm-approved script
Build trust with prospective clients while maintaining professional boundaries
Perform consistent follow-up via phone, text, and email
Work closely with attorneys and staff as part of a coordinated team
Accurately document interactions and follow firm procedures
Why Join Us?
Stable salary-based role in a unique legal environment
Clear expectations and proven systems
Meaningful work helping people during critical moments in their lives
Opportunity to grow into greater responsibility and leadership for high performers
Someone will love working here if they enjoy helping people dealing with serious life and legal issues as part of a team.
How to Apply
If you thrive in structured environments, value professionalism, and want a role where discipline and trust matter, we encourage you to apply.
