Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, managing accounts, and handling high-volume customer interaction. You will play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Process and enter customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with customers via phone and email (high call volume)
- Provide product support for items such as enclosure cards, envelopes, forms, and plant tags
- Assist with pricing, cost analysis, and quote generation
- Support production scheduling by coordinating customer needs with manufacturing teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve order or service issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal departments including production and accounting
Qualifications
- Previous inside sales or customer service experience required (manufacturing or B2B preferred)
- Strong communication skills with a professional and confident phone presence
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in order entry and data handling
- Comfortable working with numbers, including pricing and cost analysis
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with AS400 or similar systems is a plus
