    Responsibilities:

    • Sell and service insurance policies for new and existing customers (NO cold calling or individual sales quotas).
    • Educate clients on coverages, exclusions, and policy changes; answer coverage and service questions with accuracy and care.
    • Conduct needs-based conversations and Personal Insurance Reviews to recommend appropriate protection.
    • Prepare quotes and applications and follow up on inbound/outbound opportunities.
    • Process policy transactions and maintain accurate records (enter leads, run MVR/claims reports, submit new business, and complete policy changes).
    • Help customers navigate the claims process by providing guidance and ongoing support.
    • Explain billing statements and collect premiums as needed.
    • Support daily office operations (phone calls, scanning, filing, organizing, and mailing).
    • Identify cross-sell opportunities and request referrals to support agency growth.
    • Work closely with the team to achieve agency service and sales goals.

    Requirements:

    • No insurance experience required—we’ll train the right person.
    • Dependable, positive, and eager to learn.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Minnesota Property & Casualty license within 90 days (agency pays licensing costs).
    • Consultative, needs-based selling approach.
    • Self-starter who can work independently and make sound decisions with minimal direction.
    • Comfortable with Windows-based software and learning new systems.
    • Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
    • High school diploma required; post–high school education preferred.

    Schedule:

    • Employee’s choice of shift between 7:30am – 4:00pm and 9:00am – 5:30pm
    • No evenings or weekends required

    Compensation:

    • Base hourly + team bonuses, with potential additional individual commissions.
    • Expected base: $20–$22/hour
    • Typical total annual range: $60,000–$70,000
