    Job Description

    Ingram Content Group (ICG ) is seeking a self-motivated, strategic, creative and relationship-driven ****Sales Specialist to join our ****International Sales team in New York. In this role, you will lead and grow our publishing business across key international territories, inclusive of Asia, The Middle East, Latin America & Caribbean. You will collaborate with local sales reps, business partners, and existing customers and prospects to represent Ingram Publisher Services (IPS) in the promotion, coordination and participation of selling front and backlist titles from publishers such as Harvard Business Review, Grove Atlantic, Planeta USA, Tuttle, etc. across all our distribution brands. The ideal candidate will have book selling experience and will be willing to travel to assigned territories on occasion.

    Required Qualifications:

    • HS Diploma or GED
    • 2 years’ related book selling experience
    • Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, V lookups and formulas
    • Ability to travel 25%
    • Experience presenting to Executives and Senior Leadership

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for IPS sales in the assigned regions, maintaining consistent communication with local commission reps, customers, and business partners.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with client publishers, ensuring their books are positioned for success in key markets.
    • Proactively identify sales opportunities, present market feedback, and recommend tailored publishing strategies.
    • Develop and manage comprehensive publishing programs that align with local market needs and client goals.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support promotions and ensure operational flow.
    • Analyze sales data and trends to produce forecasts, budget updates, and regional growth plans.
    • Present regular market and performance updates to internal leadership and external clients.
    • Lead international sales presentations and manage virtual biannual sales conferences.
    • Represent the ROW International Sales team in meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
    • Stay current on publishing trends, emerging markets, and customer behavior.
    • Travel to major industry events and international trade shows, as needed.

    Hiring Salary Range: $68,585k- $85,478k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
