    Job Description

    Essential Duties/Functions

    ** Essential Duties** are those that are critical, integral, necessary, crucial, primary, and/or fundamental. These essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform.

    Sales Support & Order Processing

    • Enter first time order items accurately into the ERP/CRM system, ensuring all required documentation and set-up is complete
    • Assist with customer onboarding and internal coordination for new accounts
    • Support Sales Team with day-to-day administrative tasks

    Sales Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare recurring and ad hoc sales reports (by product, region, customer, or business manager)
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
    • Maintain sales dashboards and reporting tools as needed

    Pricing & Documentation

    • Assist with pricing setup, updates, and maintenance
    • Complete and maintain pricing sheets, product data sheets, and sales documentation
    • Support margin analysis and pricing consistency efforts

    Process Improvement & Team Support

    • Help document, organize, and improve sales processes and workflows
    • Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sales team
    • Identify opportunities for efficiency and data accuracy improvements

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment
    • Support internal communication related to product availability, pricing, and customer requirements
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
    • 0–3 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, data analysis, or a related role
    • Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sales is a plus
    • Strong relating (overcoming no trust) and discovery (overcoming no need) skills.
    • Ability and willingness to travel. Valid driving license required.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Interest in learning technical products and industrial markets
    • Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a tactful and professional demeanor

    Physical Requirements

    • Office environment: ability to seat for prolonged periods of time and extensively use a computer/keyboard.
    • Travelling: ability to sustain potential prolonged period of driving and/or travelling
    • At Customers: may be exposed to excessive noise, moving machinery, dust, fumes, gases, chemicals.
