    We, at The Applied Companies (TAC), are assisting a valued educational instruction partner who is focused on making the world a better place by providing training and education to create better managers. We are helping them do that by finding a Part Time Sales Support Associate to assist the CEO with follow-up calls to interested clients and scheduling meetings in order to continue the company growth of a business that has been in operation for over 50 years. This position will be in office, 8am-noon, Monday-Friday in downtown Reno. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn base plus commission and work in a friendly, supportive office environment.

    What the Sales Support Associate will do:

    • Assist the CEO with administrative tasks, scheduling follow-up meetings, data entry, and customer database management.
    • Make outbound calls via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM.
    • Speak with decision-makers in L&D, Talent Development and HR roles.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate with customers.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.

    What the Sales Support Associate needs to have:

    • High school diploma/GED; some college coursework preferred.
    • Enjoys sales and is energized by outbound calling and relationship building.
    • Previous experience in a customer service, sales or business development role.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to sound professional and confident over the phone.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with CRM software, Hubspot is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
    • Ability to make consistent calls, generating leads and follow a script while sounding professional and polished at all times.

    Work Schedule:

    • Part-time position; 8am-noon; Monday - Friday; 20 hours/week
    • Compensation will be hourly base pay plus commission.
