    About the Role

    We’re hiring a full-time Sales Support Representative to join our team at a pivotal moment. This department is being built from the ground up and will focus on Federal, State, and Local Government bids as well as direct business. You won’t just be part of the process, you’ll help shape it!

    Your focus will be on supporting bid submissions, internal sales coordination, and streamlining systems to improve speed, accuracy, and win rates of all business development endeavors. This is an operations-focused role with real business impact, not external sales or cold calling.

    Responsibilities

    Bid Coordination & Submission

    Qualify bid leads (local, state, federal) with department leadership to identify aligned opportunities based on company strength.

    Prepare and submit physical, electronic, and portal-based proposals and documentation on time.

    Support leadership on tracking data, analytics, and win/loss rate to increase efficiency

    Coordinate follow-ups with vendors and clients post-submission and award.

    Inside Sales Support & Communication

    Ensure successful transition of client-based purchase orders to company operational fulfillment.

    Collaborate with production, operations, and finance teams on specs and pricing.

    Troubleshoot discrepancies with client PO and company process

    Support maintenance of bid libraries, win/loss tracking, and internal resources.

    Process & Department Development

    Help build structure and workflow for a new department.

    Collaborate on performance tracking systems and optimize submission timelines.

    Provide ongoing feedback and ideas to improve effectiveness.

    Growth opportunities for the successful

    Must-Have Experience

    Customer service or inside sales experience (min. 1–2 years).

    Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office.

    Proficient in Adobe Acrobat (for preparing and reviewing bid documents).

    Exposure to bid platforms like BidNet, SAM.gov, or government procurement portals (or willingness to learn fast).

    Understanding of local, state, and federal bid environments (or willingness to learn fast).

    Excellent verbal and written communication (English).

    Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.

    Comfortable working under deadlines and performance goals.

    Open to a compensation model that includes base salary + performance-based bonuses.

    Able to clearly communicate limitations and ask for support when needed.

    Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are required.

    Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required.

    Salary & Growth

    Base salary: $45,000–$55,000. Compensation includes a base salary of $45K–$55K/year, with potential to reach $65K–$70K+ annually through performance-based bonuses tied to bids won and revenue generated. For certain candidates, an hourly option ($22–$27/hr) may be considered during a trial period.
