    Company Overview :

    Transpac Brands is a growing and dynamic wholesale company specializing in decorative items for the gift, home, and garden industries. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented team player to support our Specialty Channel and independent sales representatives.

    Job Purpose:

    The Sales Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for Sales Representatives, providing high-level day-to-day support to ensure a seamless sales and customer experience. This role focuses on order management, account support, onboarding, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams.

    This position will be based in Toano, VA and is expected to work primarily onsite once the new distribution center and office are fully operational. During the transition period, the role may include some remote work flexibility as the office space is finalized.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Serve as the main contact for Sales Representatives, supporting order updates, inventory inquiries, pricing requests, and issue resolution.

    • Process and manage sales orders, including edits, tracking, and large uploads, ensuring accuracy and timely execution as needed.
    • Communicate proactively on order status, back orders, shipping timelines, and potential risks (e.g., cancel dates, inventory shortages).
    • Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting to resolve order issues, inventory availability, payment concerns, returns, and defective claims.
    • Support new customer and account setup, including website access, vendor portals, and required documentation (contracts, credit applications).
    • Assist with onboarding of new Sales Representatives, including materials, sample orders, and system setup.
    • Work with Director of Sales to communicate account-specific shipping requirements and help ensure on-time delivery and strong order fulfillment with the Warehouse team.
    • Conduct follow-up on leads from trade shows and sales events.
    • Support inventory management by preparing bi-weekly inventory reports, communicating no-buy items and availability updates, and partnering with Purchasing and Sales to monitor inventory levels and potential risks.
    • Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed

    Qualifications :

    • 2–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a related account support role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP experience (Apprise a plus)
    • Quick learner of systems, tools, and customer/vendor portals
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Detail-oriented, proactive team player comfortable working cross-functionally

    • Sitting, Standing, Walking
    • Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling)
    • Prolonged use of computer involved; use of hands and finger coordination; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision. Color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Speech clarity requires the ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
    • Carrying, Pushing, Pulling boxes and sample orders up to 20 lbs.
