    You should enjoy connecting with people and excel at time management — prioritizing tasks and working independently, which is especially important in a small business setting.

    Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Use excellent time management to convert opportunities into long-term clients — with the judgment to know when to walk away from deals that aren’t the right fit.
    • Follow up on leads, handle rejection, and pursue high-impact opportunities for company growth.
    • Generate and qualify leads, nurture relationships, and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
    • Develop and execute a sales strategy that prioritizes sustainable growth and aligns with company goals.

    Client Communication & Relationship Building

    • Communicate clearly and persuasively in pitches, emails, and presentations.
    • Listen actively and prepare thoroughly to understand prospects’ pain points, motivations, and objectives.
    • Build rapport and long-term relationships through strong interpersonal and networking skills.
    • Negotiate pricing, project scope, and contract terms with professionalism and confidence.

    Proposal & Project Coordination

    • Lead the process for responding to RFPs that align with company goals.
    • Scope projects effectively, manage client expectations, demonstrate sound judgment, and collaborate seamlessly with production teams.
    • Create compelling business proposals, prepare sales contracts, and negotiate favorable terms.

    Industry Knowledge & Marketing Support

    • Quickly develop a solid understanding of video production processes, terminology, and costs.
    • Use content marketing and social media insights to position our services as creative solutions to client problems.
    • Stay current on trends, competitors, and market rates within the video production and marketing industry.
    • Engage with our existing CRM or guide us toward a more comprehensive system for organizing lead generation.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1–3+ years in sales, business development, or marketing-related roles.
    • Background in creative services, media, or other intangible products is a plus.

    Education (Optional but Helpful)

    • Degree or coursework in business, marketing, communications, or film/media studies.

    Experience

    • 1–3+ years in sales, business development, or a customer experience/marketing-related role.
    • Experience selling a creative service or intangible product is a significant advantage.

    Education (Optional but Helpful)

    • Background in business, marketing, communications, or film/media studies.
