Sales & Marketing Coordinator / Manager
About the Opportunity
Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Downtown (or the “Hotel”) is seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to foster and support client service coordination for both online and offline sales for the Hotel. This role has the key day-to-day responsibilities on all sales and supporting activities including but not limited to make sales calls, work on RFP and sales contracts, support reservation, billing and credit for guests, and marketing, direct communication/meeting with community (such as Convention & Visitors Bureaus and Chamber of Commerce).
Requirements
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as hotel sales and/or hotel administrative
· Prior experience related to IHG is a plus
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
· Strong multitasking and organizational skills
· Excels at working in a collaborative team environment
· Understands importance of maintaining confidentiality
· Self-motivated, results-driven and detail oriented
· Prior experience as front desk is a plus
· Commitment to guest satisfaction
· Conduct market analysis to identify trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
· Prepare promotional and marketing materials
· Proactively selling the Hotel through in-person meetings / email or phone communication / sales bidding platform
Compensation
$16 - $22 hourly rate (subject to experience)
