    As a Sales and Operations Support professional, you will lead and manage sales and operations activities to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. Your focus will be on identifying new opportunities with targeted prospects, nurturing existing client relationships, and implementing strategies that align with our vision for innovation and excellence in global manufacturing. You'll guide a team of sales professionals in a collaborative setting, while leveraging external partnerships with marketing agencies and research firms to enhance our initiatives.     ### Key Responsibilities

    \- **Develop Sales Strategies:** Formulate comprehensive plans aligned with business objectives to boost brand awareness, drive sales growth, and achieve long-term success in the precision manufacturing sector.

    \- **Sales Management:** Create and execute sales plans, establish targets, and monitor performance metrics. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to ensure teams meet or exceed goals.

    \- **Relationship Building and Closing Sales:** Spearhead new business acquisition by managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure—while consistently hitting revenue targets.

    \- **Quote Creation and Management:** Oversee the development of customized sales quotes, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and aligned with pricing strategies. Update templates, negotiate terms, and collaborate with teams to maximize win rates.

    \- **Technical Support:** Lead technical reviews and deliver detailed cost breakdowns to support client wins, leveraging deep product knowledge and analytical expertise to build trust and demonstrate value.

    \- **Team Leadership:** Build, lead, and manage a business development team, including 1099 manufacturing reps—handling interviewing, selection, guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

    \- **Customer Relationship Management:** Cultivate strong ties with key customers, partners, and industry influencers. Work cross-functionally to deliver outstanding experiences and address needs proactively.

    \- **Marketing Collaboration:** Partner with internal marketing to align sales efforts with campaigns, research, and competitive insights. Develop resonant strategies and materials to engage audiences and fuel growth.

    \- **Budgeting and Financial Analysis:** Manage sales and marketing budgets for optimal resource use. Perform ROI analyses and leverage data for informed decision-making.

    \- **Reporting and Performance Tracking:** Produce reports on sales activities, KPIs, forecasts, and market trends. Present insights to leadership and recommend strategic adjustments.

    \- **Continuous Improvement:** Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify ways to streamline processes, automate tasks, and boost efficiency.

    \- Perform additional duties as required to support organizational needs.

     

    ### Qualifications and Requirements

    \- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.

    \- Solid knowledge of castings, forgings, and machined parts, including production workflows, quality requirements, and supply chain dynamics.

    \- Proven sales experience with a history of meeting targets and fueling business expansion.

    \- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a knack for inspiring and motivating others.

    \- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills to interpret market data and drive decisions.

    \- In-depth understanding of marketing principles, branding, and market segmentation.

    \- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.

    \- Robust organizational and project management capabilities to prioritize and meet deadlines.

    \- Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and applications like MS Excel.

    \- Keen attention to detail.

    \- Costing Capability: Expertise in costing methods and P&L analysis to create accurate, competitive proposals that ensure financial viability.
