Job Summary
The Sales & Revenue Manager is responsible for leading the sales team and supporting revenue performance across guest rooms, weddings, corporate, and group business at Goodstone Inn. This role blends team leadership with hands-on involvement in pricing, pipeline management, and sales execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a boutique hotel setting, ideal for someone who can guide a team, stay close to the business, and contribute to revenue strategy while ensuring a high-touch, personalized guest experience.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
Lead, support, and develop the Sales & Catering Manager, Group Sales Manager, and Coordinator
Establish and track performance metrics and sales goals to support team success
Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews
Coach team members to improve conversion, productivity, and client experience
Foster accountability while maintaining a collaborative, team-focused environment
Revenue Strategy & Execution
Support revenue performance across guest rooms, weddings, corporations, and group segments
Monitor pipeline activity, booking pace, and conversion trends
Provide guidance on pricing, proposals, and deal strategy
Assist in implementing pricing strategies and promotions aligned with business needs
Contribute to forecasting and revenue reporting in partnership with leadership
Sales Operations
Ensure accurate CRM management and pipeline tracking (TripleSeat preferred)
Oversee booking accuracy, group blocks, and system usage in Maestro
Review and approve contracts, pricing, and negotiated rates, supporting team performance goals while protecting the property from execution risk
Ensure timely and accurate billing of banquet tips and support accounting with folio reconciliation and adjustments
Maintain consistent and organized sales processes and documentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Events and Operations teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution
Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, campaigns, and lead generation
Align sales efforts with guest experience expectations and brand standards
Market Awareness
Stay informed on local market trends and competitor activity
Identify opportunities for growth and new business channels

Preferred Qualifications
3–5+ years of hospitality or event sales and/or revenue experience
Prior leadership or team oversight experience preferred
Experience in weddings, corporate, or group/event sales
Experience in a boutique or luxury hotel setting preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems (TripleSeat a plus) and PMS (Maestro preferred)

Compensation
$65,000 base salary + commission (0.5% of total revenue). With current annual revenue performance (~$3M), this equates to approximately $78,000 total compensation, with additional upside as revenue grows.
