Job Title: Salesforce Architect

We are seeking a versatile and technically skilled Salesforce Consultant & Developer to support our Client and Partner Group at a leading hedge fund. This role blends business engagement, Salesforce development, and data-driven reporting using Tableau. You will work closely with client-facing teams to enhance CRM capabilities, develop custom Salesforce solutions, and deliver high-impact analytics.

This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who can comfortably translate business needs into scalable solutions and has strong development skills to implement them.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Enhancements & Development • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from the Client and Partner Group. • Design and develop scalable solutions using: • Apex classes/triggers • Lightning Web Components (LWC) • Visualforce (if needed) • Flows, validation rules, and custom metadata • Customize and extend Sales Cloud to support capital raising, client servicing, and pipeline tracking.

Reporting & Data Visualization • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports using Salesforce and related data sources. • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and visual insights that support decision-making.

Integration & Data Architecture • Support integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems (e.g., data warehouses, marketing tools, document repositories). • Work with technical teams to design and maintain secure and efficient data pipelines. • Ensure data quality and governance across the CRM environment.

Stakeholder & Project Collaboration • Serve as a trusted advisor to client-facing teams (Investor Relations, Business Development, etc.). • Provide training, documentation, and best practices to improve adoption and user experience. • Manage enhancements through the full SDLC: requirements → design → development → testing → deployment.

Required Qualifications: • 8-10 years of experience working with Salesforce, including development and configuration • Strong command of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with data tools, cloud platforms, or internal systems • Proficient in Tableau with hands-on experience building executive dashboards and custom reports • Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications preferred

Preferred Experience: • Background in hedge funds, asset management, or financial services • Familiarity with capital raising, institutional investor workflows, or fund distribution models • Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado, SFDX) • Knowledge of data security best practices (e.g., role hierarchies, sharing rules)
