Position Details:

Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Long Island City , NY - Onsite / (Local)

Duration: 12 Months

Client: Government Client

Rate: $65-75/hr.

Position Description:

For a Salesforce Developer. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.

· Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.

· Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

· Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.

· Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.

· Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.

· Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

· 4+ years of experience as a software developer.

· 1-2 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer

· At least 4 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher.

· At least 4 years of experience writing complex queries in T-SQL.

· At least 4 years of experience developing reports using SSRS.

· 4 Experience developing web applications in C# using MVC, XML, and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Desired Skills:

· Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.
