Position Overview

The State of Arizona is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Developer with strong Experience Cloud expertise. This role involves leading the architecture, design, and development of Experience Cloud solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Strategy

Lead end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Experience Cloud sites

Select appropriate frameworks (LWR vs Aura) based on performance and SEO needs

Design secure solutions using SSO, External Identity, and sharing models

Define CI/CD strategies and deployment processes for Experience Cloud

Technical Development

Develop high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Implement personalized user experiences using Salesforce CMS and Audience Targeting

Build automation using Apex, Flows, and asynchronous processing

Data & Integration

Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud) via REST/SOAP APIs

Utilize Salesforce Data Cloud for unified customer data and insights

Leadership & Collaboration

Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards

Collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Present technical solutions and roadmaps to leadership

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer

Mandatory: Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification

Proven experience leading end-to-end architecture of Experience Cloud sites

Strong expertise in:

Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS/SLDS

Salesforce CLI, SFDX, and DevOps practices

Experience with LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Service Cloud

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

UI/UX design experience

Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant (preferred)
