Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Job Description:

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business operations and customer needs. This role requires a strong technical foundation in Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, and integrations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The developer works closely with administrators, analysts, and other developers to implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs.
• Customize and configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to performance, functionality, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, administrators, and end-users.
• Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning and standups.
• Document code, processes, and configuration changes to ensure maintainability.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and security standards.
• Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration platforms.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and performance considerations.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Certifications Required:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I

Certifications Preferred:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II
• Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce App Builder
• Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-Based)
• Hours: 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours
• Start Date: ASAP
• Eligibility: U.S Citizen or legal permanent resident
