Position Overview
Stealth Solutions is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Lead to guide requirements analysis, solution design, and functional delivery for large-scale Salesforce implementations across public sector programs. The Functional Lead will work closely with clients, business analysts, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure business needs are accurately captured and translated into scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions.
This is a hybrid position, but candidates must reside in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (DMV metro area) to support occasional in-person client and team engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and QA Testers; set standards for functional delivery quality.
Translate business requirements into well-structured epics, features, and user stories with testable acceptance criteria.
Facilitate discovery, requirements workshops, and business process mapping to define future-state solutions.
Partner with Solution and Technical Architects to align functional intent with system design and constraints.
Define and oversee declarative configuration strategies (Flows, validation rules, objects, automation, etc.).
Drive backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness with delivery teams.
Partner with Product Owners to prioritize work based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
Validate functional designs via walkthroughs, prototypes, demos, and UAT coordination.
Support change management, training materials, and adoption strategy for end users.
Ensure functional solutions comply with federal standards (Section 508, FedRAMP, and security requirements)
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
Must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area
Bachelor’s degree
5–8+ years of Salesforce functional consulting experience, preferably on enterprise or multi-org implementations
2+ years leading functional teams or owning functional designs on complex Salesforce programs
Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (Objects, Flows, Reports/Dashboards, Profiles/Perms, Record Types, Page Layouts)
Ability to translate requirements into actionable, testable user stories
Experience with Agile delivery environments
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
Required Certifications
Salesforce Platform Administrator
Salesforce Platform App Builder
At least one of: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, OmniStudio Consultant
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio.
Experience supporting public sector or federal programs
Experience supporting IL4/IL5, DoD, or DHS environments
Experience working on multi-vendor/blended federal programs
At least one of: Platform Data Architect, Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect
Salesforce Certified Application Architect is highly desirable
Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional is highly desirable
