    About One Dynamic

One Dynamic is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Fairfax, VA. We specialize in digital transformation, cloud infrastructure, quality assurance, and enterprise architecture for federal and healthcare organizations. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect, SME, to support our client, Connected Logistics (LogC2), a certified SDVOSB that builds secure, mission-critical IT and logistics solutions for the U.S. Army.

    About AIE

Accessions Information Environment (AIE) is the Army's enterprise recruiting and accession system—a cloud-based, Impact Level (IL)-4 Salesforce-powered platform built to replace multiple legacy recruiting systems. AIE streamlines lead generation, prospect tracking, applicant processing, enlistment paperwork, and onboarding for new soldiers, giving recruiters a modern, mobile-accessible, unified tool. Working on AIE means you'll be contributing directly to how the U.S. Army recruits, processes, and manages new soldiers.

    About the Role

As the Salesforce Technical Architect, SME, you will partner with the Technical Lead to guide the technical vision and integrity of key features and milestones for the AIE system. You will design solutions, enforce architecture standards, mentor developers, guide DevSecOps, and directly influence how we deliver secure, scalable applications to the U.S. Army.

This is not a basic developer role—it is a leadership role. You'll own architecture, mentor leaders, and make decisions that impact frontline recruiting operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end Salesforce architecture, including design, integration, data modeling, security, performance, and deployment strategy
    • Architect and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, balancing declarative vs code-based approaches
    • Define and enforce architecture governance: metadata strategy, naming conventions, environment governance, release management, version control, CI/CD workflows
    • Collaborate with data SMEs to design scalable data models; oversee data migration, quality, governance, sharing & security architecture
    • Review and approve solution designs, custom code, configurations, and integrations submitted by senior developers
    • Collaborate with DevSecOps to ensure secure deployments and compliance with DoD/Army security requirements
    • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation: architecture decision records, system diagrams, compliance artifacts
    • Conduct architectural reviews, manage technical debt, and ensure long-term maintainability and compliance
    • Translate complex Army requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions
    • Mentor the Development team by promoting best practices, enforcing standards, and building technical excellence

    Required Qualifications

    Experience & Background

    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce architecture experience on enterprise-scale, complex programs
    • Prior experience in DoD or federal environments with active Secret or higher clearance
    • Proven track record leading senior Salesforce developers and making high-stakes architectural decisions
    • Demonstrated production-grade experience delivering OmniStudio solutions or equivalent
    • Experience delivering full-lifecycle solutions from requirements through support and maintenance
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States (US-based candidates only)

    Technical Skills

    • Expert-level Apex (classes, triggers, async processing, bulkification, test coverage)
    • Strong proficiency with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, sharing & security architecture, governor limits
    • Proven experience with enterprise-scale integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, ETL)
    • Strong background with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and metadata-driven deployments

    Required Certifications

    • Salesforce Platform Developer II
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder
    • OmniStudio Developer or Consultant (or equivalent demonstrated enterprise experience)
    • Application Architect

    What Sets You Apart

    • Additional architect-level certifications (System Architect, Deployment Lifecycle, DevOps-oriented certs)
    • Certifications in cloud infrastructure, security, or identity/access management (AWS, Azure, Security+)
    • Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in multi-org, multi-environment, regulated/federal contexts
    • Demonstrated success in coaching teams and driving long-term system health

    Engagement Details

    • Salary: ~$160,000/year
    • Location: Fully remote (US-based candidates only)
    • Clearance: Active Secret or higher required
    • Client: Connected Logistics (LogC2) supporting U.S. Army AIE
    • Employment: Contract
