    We are a certified woman-owned commercial cleaning company seeking an experienced, highly motivated salesperson to expand our presence throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

    The ideal candidate has experience developing new business opportunities within transportation, utility, infrastructure, hospitality, engineering, construction, government, and commercial real estate markets. This individual is a proactive “hunter” who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and close contracts while managing a disciplined sales process from prospecting through contract award.

    Position Overview

    This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new commercial cleaning contracts throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Northern New Jersey, and surrounding markets.

    The ideal candidate understands how to navigate complex organizations, including transportation agencies, utilities, infrastructure operators, engineering firms, construction contractors, facility managers, procurement departments, and executive leadership teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the NYC metropolitan area.

    Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, cold outreach, site visits, industry events, and relationship development.

    Identify opportunities with transportation, utility, infrastructure, hospitality, municipal, engineering, construction, and commercial clients.

    Build relationships with facility managers, operations managers, project managers, procurement personnel, property managers, and executive decision-makers.

    Conduct facility walkthroughs and develop customized cleaning solutions.

    Prepare proposals, pricing packages, and presentations.

    Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.

    Utilize CRM software to track leads, opportunities, customer interactions, sales activities, and customer follow-up.

    Coordinate with operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and account retention.

    Monitor public bid opportunities, RFPs, RFQs, and contractor prequalification opportunities.

    Participate and take leadership positions in relevant networking organizations.

    Required Qualifications

    5-10 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience.

    Demonstrated success developing new business and closing service contracts.

    Strong CRM experience required (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

    Proven ability to maintain a structured sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.

    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

    Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

    Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.

    Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the NYC metropolitan area.

    Highly Preferred Experience

    Candidates with existing relationships, experience, or contacts within the following sectors are strongly preferred:

    Transportation and transit agencies (including MTA, NJ Transit, Port Authority, airports, rail systems, and bus operations)

    Utility and energy companies (electric, gas, water, telecommunications)

    Infrastructure owners and operators

    Hotel and hospitality companies

    Engineering consulting firms

    Construction management firms

    General contractors and specialty contractors

    Commercial real estate and property management organizations

    Municipal, county, and state government agencies

    Existing relationships with utility companies, transportation agencies, engineering firms, major contractors, public agencies, or commercial real estate organizations within the New York City metropolitan area are strongly preferred.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    Experience selling on behalf of a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), or similar certified business preferred.

    Understanding of supplier diversity programs and procurement processes utilized by government agencies, utilities, transportation authorities, engineering firms, construction contractors, and large corporate clients.

    Ability to identify and pursue opportunities where WBE certification provides a competitive advantage in contract awards, subcontracting opportunities, and supplier diversity initiatives.

    Has the ability to establish network of facility, operations, procurement, engineering, construction, utility, transit, and infrastructure contacts.

    Is comfortable selling into complex organizations with multiple decision-makers.

    Understands public-sector procurement and bid processes.

    Has experience pursuing opportunities with major utilities, transit agencies, infrastructure operators, engineering firms, and large contractors.

    Has experience leveraging WBE, SBE, DBE, or supplier diversity programs to develop business opportunities and establish relationships with procurement and supplier diversity professionals.

    Can identify opportunities where a woman-owned business designation provides a competitive advantage.

    Uses CRM systems consistently to drive business development activities and manage client relationships.

    Has the ability to work independently while providing demonstrated results

    Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission

    Performance bonuses for additional non-traditional sales (i.e. consumables)
