** Job Description:**
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with high-end hotels, restaurants, grocery, convenience and boutique retailers in Connecticut. You will introduce our exceptional bottled selections and other products, educate clients, and secure sales opportunities.
** Key Responsibilities:**
- ** Business Development:**
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the hospitality and retail sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including hotel beverage directors, restaurant owners, and retail buyers.
- Conduct regular sales calls and presentations to promote our tea, beverage and pantry offerings.
- ** Sales Execution:**
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- ** Client Education and Training:**
- Conduct tea tastings and educational sessions to educate clients on the history, flavors, and brewing techniques of our teas.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients to ensure optimal product usage.
- ** Market Analysis:**
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
** Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Connecticut hospitality and retail market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in sales CRM software.
