Role Overview
This contractor role blends consultative sales with community outreach—ideal for a people-first professional who turns conversations into measurable results. You will source your own leads, run Zoom consults, and convert warm interest into clients. You will also cultivate partnerships and represent College Ready at virtual and in-person events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engaging Zoom presentations; tailor solutions to family goals and constraints.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline; follow up consistently to close sales.
Identify, attend, and leverage community events (virtual and in-person) for brand awareness and referrals.
Develop and execute outreach strategies that drive qualified conversations.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a seamless client experience from first call to handoff.
Maintain accurate records of sales and outreach activities in the CRM (GoHighLevel).
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Show Rate ≥ 70% on booked consults
Close Rate 45–50% on qualified consults
Speed-to-Lead: first outreach within 30 minutes (business hours)
Pipeline Hygiene: next step + date on every opportunity; same-day notes
Client Satisfaction/NPS ≥ 9/10

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Education, Communications, or related field
Proven sales experience (presentations and follow-up to close)
Community outreach and relationship-building experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Experience in educational consulting is a plus (not required)
