Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom solutions for deployment in a SharePoint Server 2016 environment. Solutions will range from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. The primary responsibilities will be to design and develop SharePoint solutions and to coordinate with the rest of the team to provide robust tools for the customer.

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Primary duties of the developer include, but are not limited to:

• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code

• Supporting the upgrade, configuration and debugging of existing solutions, as required

• Using established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET

• Net development and utilization of SSIS/SSRS.

• Enhancing existing solutions by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement

• Investigating and developing skills in new technologies

• Monitoring everyday activities of the system and providing support as needed

• Having a flexible work attitude and adjusting to customer IT restrictions pertaining to development and deployment of application systems

• Problem solving and having good communication skills – support requires interaction with customers, system administrators, and other supporting teams.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• A successfully completed in-scope NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation or eligible for an interim public trust while undergoing a new NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliance or ability to obtain within 180 days of start
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or comparable work experience
• 5 YEARS OF DESIGN AND/OR DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE WITH ASP.NET AND C#
• Experience in database design and development using TSQL in a MS SQL Server farm
• Experience with SQL Reporting Services
• Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Knowledge of Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices (e.g., SOA)
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
