    Job Description

     

    The ideal candidate will have previous Navy training experience developing courseware using Content Planning Module (CPM), Learning Object Module (LOM), Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM), and Adobe Captivate. The ID will work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and conduct analysis, design, and development in support of Naval Aviation Warfare Command Training Support Detachment’s (NAWC TSD) implementation of the Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) Learning Content, Material, and Curriculum aligning with Sailor 2025 objectives. NETC E2E and Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) experience is preferred. This is a Great Lakes, IL opportunity that requires full-time in office support and a secret clearance.

    This position is on site, no remote.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES/JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Perform and support Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) Fielding Plan analysis and evaluation of curriculum documents for the local NAWC TSD Learning Center

    • Using Government Furnished Information (GFI) and approved analysis and design products develop Interactive Courseware (ICW) according to the RRL/Sailor 2025 standards

    • Proficient use of CPM, AIM, LOM, and Adobe Captivate for ICW curriculum development

    • Ability to work in a production driven environment and meet deadlines

    • Ability to work collaboratively with the NAWC TSD development team

    • Develop consistent, well written, and technically accurate RRL/Sailor 2025 ICW course material to include video and audio scripts, storyboards and test questions in accordance with the Sailor 2025/RRL Style Guide and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL)

    • Work as a NAWC TSD courseware development team member and attend working group meetings and conferences as required

    • Assist with updating analysis, design, and development products to include:

      • Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA)
      • Training Project Plan (TPP)
      • Course Training Task List (CTTL)
      • Training Course Control Document (TCCD)
      • Course Master Schedule (CMS)
      • Instructional Media Design Plan (IMDP)
      • Instructional Media Materials
      • Testing Plan
    • Coordinate and collaborate with NAWC TSD SMEs and IDs to analyze, design, develop, and implement updated curriculum

    Required Qualifications

    • 4 Years’ experience in the operation or maintenance of combat surface ships, preferably as a SPY or AEGIS Computer Technician.
    • Previously served in the U.S. Navy as one of the following rates: FC, IC, MN, GM, ET, STG, or BM/SPACT
    • 1 year experience with researching and sourcing information that will benefit the development of U.S. Navy training
    • Active Secret Security Clearance

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Prior Navy experience
    • Experience with DOD Instructional Theory and Development to include working knowledge of NAVEDTRA 130 series instructions
