Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is hiring a Salon Assistant who loves working with children and thrives in a fun, fast-paced salon environment. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, friendly, and passionate about delivering great customer experiences while supporting daily salon operations.

Job Summary

The Salon Assistant plays a key role in keeping the salon running smoothly while ensuring every child and parent has a fun, positive experience. Responsibilities include scheduling, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory, and supporting guest relations.

Responsibilities

Manage appointment scheduling and guest check-ins

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment

Follow and enforce hygiene and sanitation standards

Assist with inventory tracking and stock organization

Support training and onboarding of team members

Provide excellent customer service and engage with children and parents

Help maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere

Multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role

3+ years of customer service experience preferred

Experience working with children is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Positive attitude and friendly personality

Ability to work weekends
