Job Overview

Calea Beauty is a full-service salon seeking an experienced and licensed Salon Manager to lead our team in Fresno, CA (93722). This is an employee position. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional experience in a salon environment and hold a valid California Cosmetology License. The Salon Manager will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily salon operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management

Manage and support salon staff, including nail technicians, estheticians, makeup artists, and receptionists

Monitor and ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction

Maintain salon inventory, including ordering and restocking products and supplies

Manage financials including payroll, deposits, and performance metrics

Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of salon team members

Handle client concerns professionally and implement solutions

Ensure salon compliance with California State Board regulations and safety standards

Collaborate with the Calea Beauty team to implement promotions, marketing initiatives, and client retention strategies

Qualifications

Active California Cosmetology License (required)

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a salon environment (required)

Proven leadership and management experience in a salon setting

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Professional, reliable, and client-focused demeanor

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed

Proficiency with salon scheduling and POS software

Preferred Skills (Plus, Not Required)

Experience managing multiple beauty services (nails, esthetics, makeup)

Retail and inventory management experience

Marketing, social media, or promotions experience

Team-building and training experience

Compensation & Benefits
