JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Salon Manager leads in running the salon and creating a fun, engaging experience for customers and a positive experience for team members. This role involves supervising & recruiting staff, marketing efforts, handling customer service, providing stylish haircuts and services, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage salon staff, scheduling, and daily operations.

Provide customers with stylish haircuts and services.

Builds positive customer relationships, provides excellent customer service, and resolves customer's concerns.

Support sales, product offerings, and marketing efforts to drive business growth.

Oversees inventory management and product restocking.

Trains and mentors team members to maintain high service standards.

Prepares daily shifts, based on demand and scheduled appointments

Handles cash management, sales reporting, and deposits.

Ensures the salon maintains cleanliness and follows all safety regulations.

Ensures opening and closing responsibilities are maintained

Works at least 2 weekend shifts per month

Works at least 2 evening shifts per week (until 8pm)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Salon management experience

Hair Stylist experience

Experience working with kids and families

MO Cosmetology/Barber license
