Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the Salon Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and enhance the overall client experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily salon operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and health regulations to maintain a clean and safe salon environment.

Oversee front desk operations, including appointment scheduling using Salon Ultimate or other salon software.

Provide guidance on hair styling techniques, color theory, hair extensions, and barbering services to staff as needed.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance client satisfaction.

Develop marketing strategies to promote salon services and attract new clients.

Maintain inventory of salon products and supplies; order as necessary to ensure availability.

Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance metrics, and new initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in salon management or a similar role within the beauty industry.

Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, color theory, hair extensions, and barbering practices.

Proficiency with salon software such as Salon Ultimate for scheduling and client management.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on client satisfaction.

Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with sanitation practices in accordance with state regulations is essential.

Previous experience at the front desk or in customer-facing roles is preferred.

Able to work Weekends.

Proficiency with Marketing efforts: Digital, Social Media, Community Events/Outreach.
