    Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Rockwall is looking for a Salon Support Specialist for steady Saturday and Sunday shifts as well as some 3-6pm weekday shifts to join our high performing team. Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids - Rockwall is a salon for kids ages 0-14. We’re on a mission to WOW our clients from the moment they arrive. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family!

    Our Salon Specialist should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably welcome and friendly experience for each of our client children and parents.

    This would be an excellent position for a teacher or high schooler looking for after-school plus weekend hours. This is less about working at a salon than it is creating a warm feeling for all who enter the salon.

    KEY POINTS

    • Compensation: $14-16/per hour

    SALON SUPPORT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the stylists with cleaning duties between services to prepare for next customer. This includes wiping, disinfecting, sweeping up each station.

    • Maintain cleanliness of the salon throughout the day. This includes spot cleaning plus running laundry throughout a shift.* Follow an end-of-day closing/cleaning checklist to uphold TDLR cleanliness standards.

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.

    • Greet customers with a warm welcome upon entry into salon.

    • Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the high level of service.

    • Ability to work with kids ranging from 1-14.

    SUGGESTED REQUIREMENTS

    • Customer service experience

    • Wear a smile and be available on weekends and weekday afternoons

    • Full weekday shifts could be an option at times for extra hours
