    About Us: We are an off-premises catering, food service, and special events company specializing in traditional Criollo cuisine. While Latino food is our specialty, Salsa also excels in the execution of our international menu offerings for most cultural affairs.

    About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Sales/Event Consultant at Salsa Hospitality. We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong background in event sales and planning to drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role presents an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in the hospitality industry. This is a salary + commission role.

    Responsibilities:

    Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships

    Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand our customer base

    Sell, plan, and manage all aspects of on and off-site events from initial client meetings to event execution and follow-up

    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event planning, coordination, and execution, including catering and special event services

    Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and event orders to clients

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

    Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and networking efforts

    Conduct site visits and tours for potential clients, showcasing our venue and services

    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client communications

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

    Proven experience in sales, event planning, or hospitality management

    Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    Proficiency in Google Suite, Caterease software, and digital platforms.

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

    Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service
