Culligan Water is currently seeking a Route Driver to join our team. The Route Driver performs deliveries along a specific route. Additionally, drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of customers. This is a Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm position. Our customers are routed months in advance and our drivers are expected to be here present every morning ready to work.

Responsibilities

Deliver water treatment products to homes and businesses in an efficient and timely manner

Prepare, process, and execute delivery orders in addition to collecting related monies and issuing invoices

Handle customer issues, complaints, and problems courteously and promptly while exhibiting an overall customer-focused style of service

Follow all safety protocols and company regulations

Consistently uphold the cleanliness standards of company vehicles and equipment

End-of-route supervisor check-ins, with daily recaps

This is a very physically demanding position requiring carrying 40-50# bags of salt and 40# jugs of water into homes and businesses. Must be able to carry these items down steps into basements and fill salt tubs for the customer.

Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent GED

1-3 years of route experience preferred, although not required

A valid driver’s license with no major driving infractions in last 5 years

Ability to use a mobile device or tablet

Detail-oriented, highly organized

Able to effectively engage with strangers and establish professional relationships

Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates

Clean and professional appearance

Able to regularly lift 50 lbs on a daily basis

Able to work independently & manage your own time - drivers leave at 8 am and return at 4pm.
