    Saltiel Law Group is a business transactions and litigation law firm, located in Coral Gables, FL. We’re seeking a sharp legal assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys and paralegals, assist clients, and keep the office running smoothly. You’ll work with the team to prepare a variety of legal documents, handle office correspondence like answering and managing partners' emails and phone calls; managing new client relations and assisting the office with booking consultations, scheduling meetings and following up with potential engagements; processing payments; and managing upcoming deadlines and office organization for the team . Compensation: $18 - $25 per hour for first 90 days; potential increase based on performance + benefits Responsibilities: Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and letting the team know about upcoming deadlines Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Process client billing properly and follow up with the client to assist with payment processing • Managing new leads and assisting potential new clients through our sales process, through to engagement and successful onboarding as a new client • Handling sales calls – potential new clients • Assisting office with coordination of marketing activities • Meet and greet office guests • Processing incoming and outgoing mail for three attorneys (includes scanning, organizing, and delivering to appropriate paralegal) • Drafting and sending “engagement letters” for new client matters, and following up on the same • Preparing file closings when matters are concluded • Coordinating office staff and supplies Qualifications: Proficient with MS Office products At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks Associate’s degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position • Fluent in Spanish • Phone etiquette Compensation: $18-$25 hourly + benefits, DOE
