Job Description
At Samaritan Bethany, this Activities Assistant is an important part of the Life Enrichment team. The team helps residents find meaningful ways to engage in everyday life, cognitively, socially, physically and spiritually. This role is responsible for all aspects of the social activities for residents – planning, assisting, and facilitating.
Work schedule is full-time, 40 hours/week. Primarily works daytime hours, but must be flexible for occaisional evening & weekend programming.
Qualifications
Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with seniors, compassionate, caring and dependable. Also requires being energetic and creative, and must have some computer knowledge. Prior experience preferred.
