    ** Job Summary:**

    The Facility/Farm Assistant will assist Kona Facility Manager with all maintenance activities such as Facility equipment maintenance, property upkeep, vehicle/farm equipment upkeep and maintenance and occasional farm maintenance. Will be a key point in the machine maintenance operations. Maintain all inventory along with the Wet/Dry mill duties such as lifting, sorting and drying of coffee beans.


    ** Key Responsibilities:**

    Ø Maintenance of farms to insure a clean and safe environment.

    Ø Work in Farm Operations area as assigned.

    Ø Operate machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and front-end loaders.

    Ø Maintain working area in clean condition.

    Ø Ensure the farm is operating safely and in compliance with Federal, State or local regulations

    Ø Mowing, weed eating, pruning, and landscape maintenance as needed

    Ø General equipment maintenance

    Ø Chemical & fertilizer application

    Ø Perform related duties as required

    Ø Maintain Water tanks. Release & clean tanks, maintain water pump

    Ø Pickup Coffee bags from field, weigh cherry and processing in wet mill.

    Follow all company procedures and policies, especially with respect to Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices

    ** Qualifications:**

    • Valid Drivers License & Clean Drivers Abstract
    • Farm Equipment Experience +1 year ( Willing to train the right candidate)
    • Ability to work as teams and independently
    • Clear written and communication skills
    • Required to load, unload and move coffee bags weighing more than 55 lbs.
    • Previous farm experience or knowledge required
    • Willing to learn new skills
    • Results driven and self-motivated
    • Must maintain excellent attendance and work overtime and weekends. Valid Drivers license

    Salary: $20.00 per hour

    Job Type: Full-time
