Job Description

East End Food Manufacturer is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for processing customer orders and providing exemplary level of customer service communication and support in a fast paced, busy work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process orders in accounting software, determine stock levels, communicate with customer regarding the order and shipping times, work with warehouses to get orders shipped in a timely manner
• Work with the inventory department to determine availability of stock for orders, troubleshoot stock issues and shipping issues
• Print Bill of Ladings
• Schedule Shipments
• Provide customer requested documents and certifications as needed
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Answer the telephone in a professionally pleasant manner
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and availability of products
• Other general office duties

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year experience in customer service, inside sales
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Ability to prioritize and multitask, working in a fast paced environment
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math skills, problem solving skills with an attention to detail are a must
• Pre employment Background Check, Drug Test and employment random drug testing performed
