Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Customer Systems Technologies, the Data Analyst supports daily administration and user support of the customer information and billing system.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze data architecture and system functionality
- Gather, understand, and document requirements
- Document design and specification for configuration and development
- Test and validate results
- Develop business process documentation to provide end-user training and support
- Administer user access in Customer System applications
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and queries
- Serve as an expert in customer data and reporting needs
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Highly motivated to develop technical aptitude and data analysis skills
- Ability to understand information system concepts
- Knowledge of data flow/integration and business process
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and SQL
- Keen attention to detail
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management information systems or closely related field
- Recent business/data analyst and/or Oracle Customer Care and Billing experience
