POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of Customer Systems Technologies, the Data Analyst supports daily administration and user support of the customer information and billing system.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze data architecture and system functionality 
• Gather, understand, and document requirements
• Document design and specification for configuration and development
• Test and validate results
• Develop business process documentation to provide end-user training and support
• Administer user access in Customer System applications
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and queries
• Serve as an expert in customer data and reporting needs

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Highly motivated to develop technical aptitude and data analysis skills
• Ability to understand information system concepts 
• Knowledge of data flow/integration and business process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and SQL
• Keen attention to detail
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management information systems or closely related field
• Recent business/data analyst and/or Oracle Customer Care and Billing experience
