    Position Summary

    Pro Powder and Paint is seeking an experienced and motivated Sandblast Operator to support the preparation of high‑quality finished products. This position plays a critical role in surface preparation prior to painting and coating. The ideal candidate has strong sandblasting skills and can produce consistent, quality results independently from day one.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for painting, powder coating, or other treatments

    Set up, adjust, and operate blast booths and related equipment

    Remove dirt, paint, grease, rust, and other surface contaminants

    Load and unload blast cabinets safely and efficiently

    Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues to management

    Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders

    Conduct quality checks to ensure surfaces meet required specifications

    Maintain accurate production records, including materials used and process notes

    Assist with painting or coating operations as needed

    Apply and remove non‑skid materials when required

    Requirements & Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years of sandblasting experience

    Strong understanding of safety procedures and protective equipment

    Experience working with or removing heavy metals (preferred)

    Familiarity with power tools and industrial equipment

    Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong attention to detail and quality standards
