  • Responsibilities

    Painter and Sand Blaster position is responsible for sandblasting containers for repair and painting a variety of items associated with commercial trucks, industrial compactors, and containers.

    First and Second Shifts Available

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Some mechanical knowledge, mechanical aptitude or education.
    • Must have mechanical aptitude.
    • Ability to read a tape measure.
    • Previous blasting or painting experienced, preferred.
    • Basic to intermediate welding skills, preferred.
    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, & background check.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Sandblast containers, trucks, and other miscellaneous parts to get ready for painting.
    • Have an understanding of blasting equipment and safety procedures involved in operating equipment.
    • Must be able to wear blasting hood for an extended period of time.
    • Maintain a record of all work completed and submit to Supervisor.
    • Must be able to meet all production requirements.
    • Must provide own hand tools.
    • Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy.
    • All other duties as assigned by management.
