In this role, you will be responsible for using sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape various materials, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.

Schedule: 4 10's / M-T

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing.
• Inspect materials and surfaces to determine the appropriate sandblasting techniques and materials required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in sandblasting is a plus.
• Proven experience as a sandblaster or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various sandblasting techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

You should be proficient in:

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Industrial Cleaning Equipment Operation
• Meets Physical Requirements

Salary info:

$21 - $24 / hr
