    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Sandblasting Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in abrasive blasting and a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques. As a Sandblasting Technician, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or coating, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety protocols while operating sandblasting equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, shape, or finish surfaces using various abrasive materials.
    - Prepare surfaces by removing contaminants, rust, old paint, and debris.
    - Follow an estimate to determine proper abrasive blasting techniques and materials.
    - Monitor and maintain sandblasting equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and reporting any malfunctions.
    - Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
    - Conduct routine inspections of finished surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
    - Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and project requirements.
    - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
    - Document and report any issues or discrepancies during the sandblasting process.

    Qualifications:
    - Technical training in surface preparation or related field is a plus.
    - Familiarity with safety precautions and regulations related to sandblasting.
    - Ability to operate various sandblasting equipment and tools.
    - Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
    - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
