UZURV is a 80+ person, growing technology company based in Richmond, VA, which currently operates in 14 states and is expanding nationally. As an Adaptive Transportation Network Company and technology platform, UZURV serves individuals with disabilities, older adults, and others who need assistance with independent transportation, as well as the organizations that provide mobility services to them. 

The UZURV platform replaces many legacy processes for compliance, driver recruiting, and trip management… uniting agencies, providers, and riders with automation that dramatically improves service quality and lowers costs to deliver reliable mobility. We are seeking an Operations Associate to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the live trip execution, ensuring that riders are picked up safely and on-time. To be successful in the role, you should be highly organized, able to think on your feet and ready to address challenging situations head on. You must be able to quickly triage issues and identify solutions in a continuously evolving environment. You are out-going, confident and a multitasking pro. 

AS AN OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL BE: 

• Proactively monitoring real-time ride activity, engaging with drivers and riders as required; answering their phone calls and helping problem solve 
• Overseeing network performance to ensure on-time performance delivery 
• Diagnosing issues and prescribing solutions on the fly
• Delivering real-time support to drivers, riders and clients, via chat, email, phone and SMS; you are comfortable communicating clearly and effectively across multiple channels 
• Responding to evolving situations as they develop, coordinating emergency response as required

AS UZURV'S OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE, YOU MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years relevant experience (bonus points for hospitality experience and/or dispatch experience) 
• Ability to show compassion and empathy while maintaining a professional attitude 
• Strong communication skills; written, spoken, and interpersonal 
• Outgoing personality 
• Passion for learning new skills and processes 
• Respect for process, focus on outcomes. You solve problems. 
• Proficiency in the business tools of 2022 (Slack, Zendesk, Google Suite, etc).
• Schedule flexibility; evenings & weekends required; ability to cover on the fly if needed 
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
• Must be located in or near Richmond, VA
• Ability to work one of the following shifts:
  • Tuesday-Saturday 9pm-5am
  • Sunday-Thursday 9pm-5am

TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT UZURV, YOU MUST BE:

• TECHNOLOGY-ORIENTED - You must be well versed in G Suite applications and adept with the installation and utilization of smartphone apps (and helping others use them).
• AGILE - Multitasking is necessary in a growing, fast paced company, as is the ability to plan and organize your workload. You must be flexible and nimble to adapt to shifting priorities.
