Responsibilities as a Weld Destruct Repair:

•  Follows written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications As displayed on scheduling boards and work standard sheets.  Secondary sources of information include, but are not limited to, oral instructions from supervisors and/or other employees.
• Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
• Inspects parts for quality defects.  Measures part to ensure they meet specifications.
• Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately.Monitors machine for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance.
• Notifies operators and job setters when specifications are not being met.
• Performs first piece inspection of set-up parts as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains documentation of weld destruct test data.
• Punctual and regular attendance is required.
• Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
• Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
